Entrepreneurs Transforming Nations

Emprendedores Transformando Naciones

The ILAN (Israel & Latin American Network) organization is an association founded in Mexico based on the principles of the legacy of Shimon Peres, former president of Israel and 1994 Nobel Peace Prize winner.

With the premise that technology and innovation can improve the lives of millions of people, ILAN has been awarding its Innovation Awards for the past two years, honoring Mexican companies that, in addition to offering innovative and sustainable solutions, significantly improve people's quality of life.

This is how Éviter, a Mexican company founded by siblings Gabriela and Sergio León, a pioneer in nanotechnology applied to sanitization in Mexico, received the 2021 Innovation Award in the Health and Science category , for the benefits that its nano biomolecule has provided in containing health emergencies such as Ebola in Liberia or the current one due to Covid-19.
