Zero infections among Mexican athletes!

TOKYO 2020 OLYMPIC CHAMPIONSHIPS

During the organization of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, one of the main priorities was to guarantee the health and safety of Mexican athletes, organizers and attendees, and this was possible thanks to the proper management of the health and prevention measures that the athletes of the Mexican Olympic Committee (COM) had and the Biosecurity products that were donated by the Mexican brand Éviter®.

Thus, although there were around 110 positive cases of COVID-19 during the Olympic Games, none of the athletes representing the Mexican delegation became infected. It should be noted that the delegation was made up of 162 athletes (97 men and 65 women) who participated in 99 events: 46 men's, 49 women's, and 4 mixed.

Following the recent emergence of new COVID-19 variants around the world, and the resulting surge in cases, it is a great achievement to share the success of properly implementing hygiene and safety measures to curb the spread of the virus. Therefore, we encourage everyone to continue practicing proper handwashing, wearing face masks, social distancing, and sanitizing surfaces.

We are especially happy that they traveled, participated, and returned without any health problems related to COVID-19.
